Description
Here is my Painting of Trevaunace Cove from near Trevellas, showcasing the wonderful Sea Pinks that flourish along this part of the Cornish Coast in Spring.
This was a dawn start for me & a little trek up the steep steps above Trevellas Cove & then a walk till I found a composition that I liked.
Sea Pinks are always challenging to Paint, this Painting had its fair share of them to tackle & being glazed in early morning sun made capturing the colours & tonal balance throughout a challenge.
This Original (unless sold beforehand) will be available to view at my St.Ives Exhibition in late October 2021 at The St.Ives Society of Artists, The Crypt.
The Painting image size is 355mm x 767mm & framed approx 980mm x 560mm. It will be framed in my usual style of an Ash moulding with a deep bevel mount & a top mount of Conversation grade Mountboard & TRU-VUE anti reflection, UV protection, enhanced clarity glass.
