1/4/19 This is a new location for me, though I have visited it on a few occasions it took some planning to capture what I was hoping for, but there was also a little bit of luck. As is often the case when planning a location visit it can be a last minute decision as to whether to decide to go or not especially as this is a good hours drive & a half hour walk to set up, this particular evening I took a gamble as I wanted to capture the last throws of the Purple Heather season but the clouds looked quite thick but could sense they could potentially break which is what happened, it got a bit chilly & a few passing showers but the light, as ever, down at Penwith gave me a great show.

The Painting & drawing elements of this were one of the toughest I’ve done, lots of little details & elements to balance & capture, knowing it wouldn’t really come together till the end but happy now it is complete.

The size of this Original is Image size: 450mm x 450mm

Approx framed size: 650mm x 650mm

It will be framed using special Tru-View Ultra Glass which has UV Protection, Enhanced clarity & anti-reflective properties.

Please Note, this is an iPhone image capture so when you scroll & zoom over the image the quality isn’t as good as A) the original & B) what the print quality will be.
