This particular area is a favourite of mine and I never tire of visiting it. On this occasion I spent a night out capturing a sunset the previous evening and then up at 4.30 the next morning to visit this location, it was near the end of summer and I got absolutely eaten alive by midges while waiting for the sun to rise, but as I always think when i’m out in a location, worry about the uncomfortableness later and capture what I can, though I was a bit sore when I got home !! It wasn’t till I started painting it that I saw there was a snail on one of the stones so can you spot it ?
